Ground Water monitoring station is a
specialized facility equipped with
Ainstruments and tools designed to
systematically measure and analyze various
parameters of Ground Water, providing essential
data for assessing the quality and quantity of this
vital water resource over time.
The data provided in Table 43 along with the map
(Figure 51) presented gives an overview of the
number of Ground Water monitoring stations in
each district of Haryana, offering insights into
the extent of Ground Water monitoring
infrastructure across the state. Notably, Hisar
has the highest number of monitoring stations,
totaling 216, followed by Sirsa with 210 and Jind
with 160. On the other hand, Panchkula has the Table 43. District-wise
